I Had To

My poor Austin is having so much trouble this winter. It's too cold outside and her paws get packed with snow and ice. She can't stay out for too long which creates it's own little issue, if you know what I mean.

I never thought I would buy her clothing but I had to buy her booties. I'm still waiting for them to arrive in the mail and I pray that she wears them. I am going to take a video of her when we try them out. I hear that they stumble all over themselves trying to get used to them. I have no shame in laughing her while having her best interests at heart :)

This might sound weird, but have you tried shaving in between her paw pads with an electric razor? Milan hates snow in her paws and stops every 5 feet to pick it out, but once we got rid of the hair, the snow didn't have anything to clump onto and now she's much happier.

I didn't think about that. I'm hesitant to try it. Maybe if the booties don't work, I'll give it a go. Thanks for the suggestion!
